This Data Deletion Policy describes the process for users to request the deletion of their personal data collected through the From Acorns Eco, specifically data obtained via the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) APIs.

1. User Rights and Data Sources

When you use our service, you grant us permission to access specific data from your linked Meta account (Facebook/Instagram), as outlined in our Privacy Policy. You have the right to request the deletion of this data at any time.

2. Deletion Request Process

We offer two primary methods for users to request the deletion of their data:

A. Through the App/Service Itself (Recommended)

You can request deletion directly within the From Acorns Eco by following these steps:

1. Navigate to your Account Settings or Profile Management section within the app/website.

2. Locate the option labeled "Delete My Data" or "Disconnect Account."

3. Confirm your request.

Submitting the request through the app will typically initiate an immediate process to delete your data from our servers and revoke our API access token.

B. Via Direct Contact (Mandatory Requirement)

If you are unable to use the in-app option, or if you wish to formally request deletion, you may send a direct request:

• Email: Send an email to fromacornseco@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."

• Required Information: In the email, you must include your [Your App/Service Name] username/account ID and the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity.

3. Execution of Data Deletion

Upon receiving a verified deletion request via either method, we commit to the following process:

1. Deletion of Directly Stored Data: We will permanently delete all personal data you provided to us and any data we collected directly through your use of the Service.

2. Deletion of Meta Data: We will permanently delete all data obtained from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) APIs (e.g., username, profile picture, media content, or insights data).

3. Revoking Access Token: We will revoke the access token that permits our application to interact with your Meta account, ensuring no further data can be accessed.

We will complete the data deletion process within a commercially reasonable timeframe, generally 30 days, and notify you once the deletion is complete.

4. Data Retention for Legal Compliance

Notwithstanding the above, we reserve the right to retain certain data for a limited time where necessary to:

• Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax or accounting laws).

• Resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

• Maintain the security of our Service.

5. Meta Data Deletion Callback URL

For Meta's technical compliance, we also note the existence of a Data Deletion Request URL (Callback URL) for our application, which is used by Meta to inform us of user data deletion requests initiated directly on the Meta platform. Our application is configured to receive and process these requests automatically via:
